You came, my Beloved, to meet me at the fount of living water
Renewing my washing of regeneration,
Filling Your thirsty soul with my little expressions of love
From my little heart to Yours.
How beautiful You are, my Lord, yes all comely!
O the well-beloved image of Your diligent work of being a Copious Fountain,
Giving drink to the parched layers of my arid inner land.
Each drop of water trickles down to the core layers through the cracks,
Until, later upon layer, depth upon depth,
You make it wholesome, holy, lush, lively, beautiful—
All for You to come and drink and be satisfied with Your labor.
How can I thank You, my Lord,
For Your blessed labor of love in me?!
I offer You my entirety, to satiate Your thirst,
O my Savior and Holy One.
Move me by the stream of Your rushing river within me
To run speedily to wherever You may send me.
Let me be Your servant and apostle, a witness to Your labor of love.
For I know, O Love, that rivers can never be contained in a single being,
Lest they be stopped up and drained.
Rather they must flow from the belly to the world,
Till the world is again covered by waters—
The living waters of Love Himself.

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
(Revelation 22:17)
Jesus stood and called out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink! He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, ‘From his innermost being will flow continually rivers of living water.’”
(John 7:37–38, AMP)
The Lord will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
(Isaiah 58:11)
He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.
(Isaiah 53:11)
